Dark Ravens and Pearl Lights! Though we may see the world as a fusion of many dark, luminous, vibrant colors, black and white seem to be the case, as we move throughout life on a journey, living a superficial phase with minds, so unique. Who are we…? In dreams, you can see designs of a great master mind I call this, divine. We can find ourselves becoming lost in our own eyes and in the end will be nothing but images as pictures in memoirs of good or bad. When our light is bright we are luminous, vibrant creatures, dim light we are falling down, down, down, the rabbit hole being hypnotized by the kaleidoscope into zombies, finally reaching our inner dark daemons reaping of deceptive death. Rain clouds of grays and blacks will follow and nothing is left if we count on physical material matter or beauty. Leaving you…

Although I may see, the world, in a fusion of –vibrant colors–
Black & White seem to be the case-
We move, our lives on a magic carpet journey-
But not in a melting pot or in colors,
Life is just a phase of black and white-
To rest my case…
We remember nothing of our journey …
only black and white…
why…
Our minds are so unique…
to think
Our original vibrent colors and our dreams
They are not ours to deplete-
We are the intelligent masterpiece-
Designed by the GREAT DEVINE!

Leaving you soulless with eyes wandering in circles of lost yesterdays and living in evilness of today. You can see the light and darkness in creativity through art, poetry and music. Using a piece from each, this paper will attempt to paint a picture of souls raven and pearl by using art, poetry and musical lyric. Let’s follow the road of creative genius by relating each to the passage Luke 11:34: “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body is full of darkness” to illustrate life. “…have you seen the gates of deep darkness?” – Job 38:17 being locked up inside and not able to feel or see who or be. This is a piece of a song by the music group “Pretty Reckless” song is, “ Where did Jesus Go?’ illustrates a dark, elusive and dark side of sacrifice causing a young girl to become a zombie with no smile, dead eyes and drowning in dark paradise by reliving life through song. Darkened words sang by a slave of coldblooded acts by a man with evil kaleidoscope coal eyes and selling his daughter into hell and living in real paradise. This only a piece of the song are words to produce music very deep and fascinating as she recalls herself a factory girl. In this song and many other forms of art we see this darkness replicated. Next will be a piece of art that is deep and poetic. In the book “ Why Good People do Bad Things,” James Hollis uses the quote, “ in dark time, the eye begins to see, I meet my shadow in the deepening shade…” Theodore Roetheke to illustrate, meeting with our darker selves being tainted and flawed but how do we get this way when we can have the world. “ In New York City on the 21s,t of October 1938, at 6:00 in the morning, Dorothy Hale committed suicide by throwing herself from a window in the Hampshire House” (Kahlo). This was an actual crisis recorded by Kahlo. Kahlo describes the incident in the quote above, which was inscribed on the painting in Spanish. Dorothy Hale was a beautiful socialite, and failed performer whose spouse had been killed in the early 1930s, in a car crash. Unable to pay off her debts without her husband to support her and a failing performer, there was just to much pain and she could not fight the pain and drowning in darkness burdened and lonesome she leaped to her death outside of her apartment building. Kahlo was asked by Hales mother to construct the painting. (Olga’s Gallery, 2000) Memorized by the painting because of its innocence illustrated by soft, chaotic colors soft clouds of blues, whites and grays. Soul freeing drifting from the widow as if angels were whisking her down, down, down. Her eyes lack fright but aliveness as the storm of darkness, became soft and blue, so heavenly and rustic with dark rich colors. Her final resting in a place, of concert brilliance. Kahlo represents death with such glamor, peace, and beauty. The crimson red blood is received as nonviolent, as her eyes look deep into your soul, they offer no excuses, by some means its poetic. Although a quite horrific act, the beauty peaceful, rich colors and solemnness defer away from the lost and lonely. Dorothy sailed down gracefully like a fallen angel while freeing from her tourniquet of damnation and chains of plaguing her insane on earth. In alarming how the apple of our eye lives in the materialism of materials and our minds ripple like still rivers instead of flowing, like cascading waterfalls, as we see nothing but unconscious depths of darkness. Emily dickinson wrote, “ Madness is divinest sense-to the discerning Eye- Much Sense- the starkest madness- ‘Tis the majority- In this. As all. Prevail-Assent-and you are sane-Demur- you’re straightaway dangerous- and handled with a Chain.” We lie to ourselves deceived by the darkness and guided by explanations given to us instead of seeing and finding the truth ourselves for fear as will be labeled insane. Darkness of sweet surrender but wholeness of light is blind by darkness with afflictions caused by the world. Possibly falling with a broken hearts being unable to remember where we belong as we are cold to truth and consciousness. We lie to ourselves deceived by the darkness and guided by the explanations given to us generation instead of seeing and finding the truth ourselves. “ Turning to his disciples he said to them privately: “Blest are the eyes that see what you see.” 24 “I tell you many Prophets and Kings wished to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did no hear it” ( Luke 10:23-24). Life is beautiful and with our light, dreams of sweet surrender by faith of yesterdays, todays and tomorrows will carry us into the serenity of the heavens and provide humility on earth. All we stand for is who we are and what we choose freely to do with our crumbles of cake as we follow the yellow brick road looking for our own way out of the unconsciousness of the world. We are wandering down the path of destinies we cannot change, but we can choose to live in luminous light or raven darkness before we lie our human bodies down dead.
